Probably not a good philosophy when it comes to installing operating systems. For a brief moment, I had both Ubuntu and Windows installed yesterday, but as it turns out one wasn't happy with the other. The, ever so slightly, funny bit of it was, Windows was the pissed off one. Being, generally speaking, a Microsoft guy most of the time, I've stayed away from all that hippy linux crap. Half (or better) of my technically minded friends are fairly well absorbed into that cult (with rather blind adherence some of them actually... it's sad), but I've remained unphased by their attempts at conversion. All that said, I've considered it from time to time.

I gave Gentoo a shot once upon a time way back. Wasn't easy to install, lots of configuration options, etc... ...
