Headphones

Do I remember right you got some 5.1 headphones eye? If so can you tell me how good they are? As much as I love blasting out on my 5.1 speakers, it's very rare I do now out of consideration for others, and I was thinking about getting some really good headphones.

Yeah... I got a set of Zalman 5.1 headphones... I really like them myself. Each side has 3 little speakers in it. As I recall, Anandtech had a review of em... or maybe it was Tom's... I'll have to see if I can locate what I did with the linky... They only ran about 50 bucks or so for the headphones themselves... shipping was another 20 bucks from newegg tho... but thats cuz of the crappy 2-day fedex/ups service to AK (takes usually 4-5 days for 2-day service).

Being as I cant listen to music or play games or nothing with any sort of "Thump" without pissing off all the neighbors, the Zalman's are a good backup. Granted, they aren't the same as having high quality speakers setup... but overall, pretty good. Certainly for the price, they are muchos nice. The 5.1 on them works pretty damn good too. Twas a new experience playing SWG & EvE with em... all of a sudden shit was going on all around me... quite nice really. I cant say as I know of any other 5.1 setups for gamers... tho Im sure they got really freakin expensive ones for home stereo fanatics. I dunno... for what I wanted to do, they fit the bill! I've certainly been real happy with em.
