I just drink myself to sleep one day in 2003 and wake up now, to see OG is gone! ;)
Ok ok that's a lie :P
I am the artist formally known as swiss_cheese_soul, and as everyone knows, was the heart and soul of OG and tbh, the evidence speaks for itself that once I decided to leave it all went to shit ;) I tried to rescue the thing but internal power struggles (no doubt due to lack of me) were everywhere. Sigh...
Hehe :D Finally got yer site back up n running eh? Nice nice, one of these days I really should get round to learning all this web stuff.
Not much has changed with me, tho I do drink a lot less, but I'm still lazy and dance like a crazy foo'. I'm currently also a counselor to someone who has an obsession with a certain tight, rear-based part of the female anatomy, he knows who he is *cough*Jesse*cough*
I still play SWG but once my subscription runs out I'll leave it a few months till I renew, mainly due to cost cutting and not having the time for the game, I still enjoy it but MMORPG's probably arent the best of things to get into when trying to do a degree.
Well hope yer doing ok and lifes shit isn't too bad :)

I don't know what he's talking about... Hell, I don't need no counseling, I've got everything sorted out... *Twitch Twitch* Can I make an appointment for tonight? I met this new chick the other day... ;)
swiss_cheese_soul, don't let the name fool ya, he's actually a decent guy. Sure there's the British humor and the foreign accent, but ole Alcohol Fueled Swisseroo always was a shit load of fun...

Hehe, god knows how long you've been saying that... But believe me I can relate to it... You want to, but you never feel like it... O hope the cure for my laziness kicks in, once I hit uni...

So eye, I guess we shouldn't tell him about the "Thank god he left" and "There is a god!" parties we had then, right?
Erm did I say that aloud? Uh oh... errr.. Twas them Canadians.. yeah! They know what Im talking aboot, twas all part of their world domination scheme...
Hmm I think I forgot to mention that I was Jentre/Je Se

Yep yep... managed to get my site going again... tho, technically it was still up. I just managed to get the remaining credit on the OG site transfered to my other site... then setup a re-director for that domain to my site. And then subsequently tore the whole fucking thing down... leaving just the forums up... I've got stuff I want to go on here, but just havent had the time to dink with it that much. We're getting right into the busy season here at my primary employer... and with the 2nd job and the snowfall... well, just dont have time for much playin around.
I still play SWG tho. Hooked up with some of the old fellahs and just log in and do what I like these days. There are days I like SWG and days I hate the bastard... but such is the way it goes.
In looking back on things, most of the time the OG was a hell of a lot of fun and a great learning experience. Yeah, there were some bumps in the road, but overall I dont regret doing it... 'twas fun. Tho, after you left Swiss... things did goto shit, ROTFL... I knew that summer job thing was just a ploy to wage internal war upon us... you wanted all the powah for yaself! Admit it! Mwahahahahaha... LOL '-) Well, it was either that, or revenge for them wilde canadian drinking parties we held after your departure... err.. ummm... Jesse made me say dat! '-) I do have to agree with him on one point tho... AF Swiss was a right hoot sometimes... I look back on some of those pre-game nights a year ago rather fondly... we certainly had some good times...
Ahh well, hope you Euro's are havin a little fun every now and again. Don't cya online all that often these days, but then again... been so busy here at work, haven't really had the time for it. Speaking of work, my break's just about up.
Good hearin from yah fellahs.. '-)

With my erratic sleep patterns, it's a wonder anyone catches me online, or even sees me.
One thing I recently started doing in SWG was fishing, I found it to be rather relaxing :D Maybe I'll still play at weekends and see how that goes.
BTW What server are you on? I've grown way too attached to my Wookiee (Milo) on Farstar. I am planning on creating a secondary character on another server as I really like the appeal of the Ranger, but I probably won't be playing much at all until the summer holidays (folks FINALLY got broadband so I will be able to play :) )
With all the work I need to get done, and I still have to maintain a social life as much as I can before I hit the real world, I need a less time-consuming game. I'm rather partial to Day of Defeat (HL Mod, so much better than CS!)
Hmm well catcha about!

Im still on Tarquinas... don't play every night, but fairly frequently... working on mastering merchant and doin some smuggler stuff. Likely going to pick up another crafting profession at some point, as thats what Im good at and seem to get the most enjoyment out of... well, that and I suck at shootin shit (like this is news?).
I highly recommend picking up Knights of the Old Republic if you havent already. Bloody awesome game... by far and away one of my top games of all time for sheer enjoyment! Ranks up there with Xwing, Tie Fighter, & The Longest Journey for my most memorable games.
One of the cool things Im looking forward to about World of Warcraft is... right now it looks like 8 chars per account folks... WOOHOOOOO!!! Hope I make it into the beta on that one, would be nice... reminds me, I managed to get into the WinXP SP2 beta... thats kinda cool, got the notice last night... but gotta wait 24 hours for the account to be setup or something, so wont get to login til 2night. Overall, fun fun fun! '-)
keep it real my man, keep it real!

I have a "copy" of KOTOR, got up to the bit where you get your Lightsabre. However, at the time I aquired it, I was deep into SWG and didn't have the time. After then I figured I really should wait until the summer holidays, I owe it to them to buy the thing.
You mentioned The Longest Journey btw, I own it but didn't get far, and I lost my save games. I know it is supposed to be very good tho. I usually suck at point and clicks, despite enjoying them a lot. Go figure :)

Hehehe... I got stuck at one point the first go around in the Longest Journey... had to look up a guide on the net to figure out what I was missin (this after several hours frustration running around the all the levels n whatnot trying to figure it out). Of course, I only read enough to give me an idea of what I missed, and then closed out of the guide and proceeded on my own again. I have to say, tLJ is still in my mind one of my fav games... I liked it better than KOTOR, but more for different reasons. KOTOR was absolutely great to play, and captured that SW feel. tLJ has, in my mind, a very original story... and I kept playing it just to find out what would happen next. When the game ended, it was like the end of a good book or a great movie... you just didnt want it to end. Everyone that played it is/was clammoring for a sequel, but the developers were already movin on to their new project, Anarchy Online. Now, it seems, the fans cries havent been completely ignored, as I have read there is a sequel in the works!
Either way you look at it... both of those games are top notch in my book for adventure/rpg type games. '-)

Not me... =(
Tho I saw if you have a bout a grand to spend on ebay, you can *cough* buy *cough* one... I think it'd be hella cool to be a jedi, but not for that much moolah...
I will say one thing, Im impressed with the latest publish... The imps are crackin down... and it seems as tho not only are the devs actually listening to the masses, but low and behold trying to do something about it too! Unbelievable! '-)

WIll give TlJ another go, I'll try and fit it in round other shit :)
Atm I'm even more addicted to Day of Defeat, and working my way through Arx Fatalis, an Ultima Underworld style game (never played that mind) I do like the gesturing to cast spells, but the big let down is the story, or more precisely, the way in which it's told (v.poor scripting and voice "acting") Asides from that, enjoying use of a bow in a game for a change, think I may have to finally give Thief II a chance (Or more likely, wait for Thief III)
Also got much more into reading of late, currently working my way through Absolution Gap by Alistar Reynolds, after reading the previous book in the series and fucking loving it, brilliant epic sci-fi stuff. I think the author is a theoretical pyhsicist or something too so the tech he uses in the book is based on current theories which I find really interesting.
Anyway, I think I will be able to remember most the solutions for the TlS's first few bits, I think I got as far as making it to the other realm type place.

Not sure... didnt manage to get a chance to play it... BUT, my subscription to file planet has sure paid off! Had to DL a couple of huge freakin patches the last couple days. BF1942 had a rather large one, and then Ive just bought Falcon 4.0 off of ebay & DL'd the 300 some meg update thing for it too... Now, if it'll just arrive in the mail! =)
I read that the BF Vietnam has gone gold, or is about to or something like that... either way, the guy at the store said that the single player version of BF isnt all that great, but multi is pretty fun. Im not a big FPS guy as it is, but flyin around & driving vehicles sounds kinda fun, so figured Id give it a go... now, to just get my ass moved so I can play!

My FP Subscription goes runs out in a couple of months I think. Of late I've not used it much really, but hopefully when mine runs out you can still get Raven Shield for signing up/renewing. I played most of Raven Shiled already (borrowed it off a friend) and it's one mighty fine Counter Terrorist tactical game.

Yeah, they just started doing the free game things right after I got my subscription... think it was splinter cell you could get at the time. Bummed me out, cuz it was like 2 weeks later... but, oh well. I'd rather pay for that service than a couple dollars here and there... least they have pretty much everything I need to DL patch wise and what have you... a nice one stop shop, if I do say so myself!
Cides, now that we get IGN Insider too... total plus in my book.
